I'm a wife and a mother to three highly energetic kids. I love being a mom and I also love dreaming up my next shoot. I live in a town where there's more cows than people. Throughout the day I love finding pockets of calm that make the day slower. I draw inspiration from music, books and movies. I often stay up too late trying to finish my next great read.

I started carrying a camera when I was in high school. I took it everywhere and documented everything my friends and I did. Later when I was married, my brother-in-law gave me a lesson on how a professional camera works. Since that moment I was hooked! I bought my first Nikon camera, and started taking pictures of everyday things. I attended a photography program from the New York Institute of Photography and have continued my photography education since then. I have shot professionally for over 13 years now. I quickly found that photographing people was my favorite.
